Bihpuria Post Graduate Training College is an affiliated teacher-training college at Lakhimpur, Assam. The college was started in the year 1993 and has been grooming teachers in service for the last two decades. Spread over a compact campus of 1.72 acres, it is NCTE-approved and hence follows all norms and regulations prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education. Having its enrolment to the tune of 98, along with a faculty strength of 11, it always maintains an intimate learning environment, very conducive for personalised attention and growth. 

The institution takes pride in providing facilities that would enrich the learning experience of its students. It houses a library that serves as a knowledge hub for aspiring teachers, with over 8,470 books including 120 reference books. At the moment, only one main course is offered by Bihpuria Post Graduate Training College to students, which is a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. This two-year full-time course would help students to embark on a fruitful career in teaching. While the college focuses on this specialised teacher-training program, it has an underlying commitment to quality education in this important field.
