Located in Bongaigaon, Assam, Bijni College, Chirang, was established in the year 1969; it is one of the premier institutions of the area. It is co-ed college that is affiliated with Bodoland University and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Bijni College offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a spreading 13-acre campus area. It has a total enrolment of 2,082 students and faculty strength of 58; thus reflecting a good student-teacher ratio. 

Various facilities are available in Bijni College toward overall development of the student and smooth learning. The well-equipped library is the knowledge centre and offers access to a range of books, journals, and digital resources. The playground hosts a wide variety of outdoor games, especially for sports lovers. It also comprises a special wall for football shooting.
