Binoy Sadan B Ed College, Jhargram: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Binoy Sadan B.Ed. College, established in 2015, is located at Jhargram, West Bengal; this institution is affiliated. The college covers an area of 2.5 acres with a built-up area of, exclusively built for women's teacher education and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The student enrolment is 297 in total, while the faculty strength is 31, hence providing a concentrated learning environment to the prospective educators. 

The college has several facilities to help in its academic mission and to enrich the experience of its students. A well-stacked library acts as a hub of knowledge for students and faculty. Binoy Sadan B.Ed. College also maintains subject-based laboratories, which are very important in practising learning processes that are absolutely essential for teacher training. Realising the role of computers in modern education, Binoy Sadan B.Ed. College has developed excellent IT infrastructure. The college has sports facilities and an auditorium for cultural programs and seminars to help in all-round development. Attention is given to student welfare with a health centre offering first-aid services. The institution has also within its campus a cafeteria, parking facilities, and other amenities that make it comfortable for students to learn.

The academic courses undertaken by Binoy Sadan B.Ed. College are targeted at tapping an emerging need for qualified educators. At the moment, it has two full-time courses, both having a duration of two years.                                                     

The admission process to Binoy Sadan B.Ed. College is merit-based and subject to the directions of the State Government and affiliated university. In respect of the B.Ed. programme, admission shall be on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or performance at an entrance examination. For the D.El.Ed. programme, admission will also be based on merit, with marks from the qualifying examination and/or the entrance test results taken into account.
