About BIT Deoghar
The present constitution is BIT Deoghar, formerly known as Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centre, Deoghar, a prominent constituent college founded in 2007. This institute is located in the Jasidih, Deoghar district of Jharkhand and has a area of 25 acres of land. BIT Deoghar is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and here are undergraduate programs offered by the college. The institute especially Hermann Gmeiner Institute of Teacher Education, B-One provides conducive environment for quality education with total student enrolment of 475 and faculty strength of 30. BIT Deoghar taughts 7 courses spread in the 3 degrees with diverse streams like engineering and management.
It has many amenities within the institute that helps its academic activities and all these are found to be modern. The college library started in 2007 with a collection of books and other related materials in excess of 26,000 volumes such as text books and reference resources. It presently has 37 current journal subscriptions and many e-journals, following the guidelines of AICTE. It is a computerized library using LIBSYS software for issuing and accessing book information and has online public access catalog and bar code circulation system. Department wise BIT Deoghar owns effaced practical learning facilities & well equipped laboratories. The campus has a canteen facility, a health center where first aid is available, and a good Information Technology facility. The many facilities concerning gym and other sporting activities that the institute has, include the fields for cricket and football, the basketball and badminton court.
In total, BIT Deoghar has 7 undergraduate courses of study in five B.Tech fields and two management streams. All programmes are full time regular programmes. However, as the graduation details of the latest year are missing and hence, the institute has always been committed to provide quality education and the graduates can face the challenges of the future.
In the current consideration, admission policies at BIT Deoghar are aimed at admitting deserving students into the various programmes in the institution. For other courses like management courses BBA and BCA, the institute may certainly have their own selection criteria.
BIT Deoghar has always been promoting the alumni network with various alumni activities, specific to different batches, alumni reunion programmes. To ensure these interactions the institute has developed an Alumni Relation Group (ARG) and a Students Alumni Relation Cell (SARC). These alumni meets are the forums where people can share information and experiences that help this institute on its path towards academic achievements. They also have an active Training and Placement cell for which alumni offer a helping hand to current students for placements and internships.

Birla Institute of Technology Extension Centre, Deoghar (BIT Deoghar) is one of the prestigious constituent colleges under Birla Institute of Technology. The institute professes various undergraduate programs in engineering and management fields. BIT Deoghar provides admission to various programs to merit-listed, competitive candidates only.
Admissions ordinarily are done for B.Tech courses at BIT Deoghar on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores. This national-level entrance examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for aspiring engineering students.
For B.Tech programs, candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their main subjects from a recognized board. These candidates are selected based on the scores received in the JEE Main entrance examination, followed by a counseling procedure that involves seat allotment.
Application Process
The application process for BIT Deoghar varies depending on the program concerned:
For B.Tech programs:

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: BIT Deoghar offers B.Tech programs in four disciplines: Computer Science and Engineering (90 seats), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (30 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats), and Mechanical Engineering (30 seats). Admission to these programs is based on JEE Main scores. Candidates must qualify in JEE Main and participate in the counseling process for seat allocation.
BBA: The institute offers a Bachelor in Business Administration with 40 seats. Although specific admissions are not mentioned, it can be presumed that the institute must have its own selection process for BBA admissions using an entrance test, group discussion, and personal interview.

College Atmosphere is cool.
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is currently under construction. Therefore I would also like to add that the cafeteria needs a lot of work and modern college design would help a lot in terms of college rep. No hostel facility for students

College Infrastructure
The college is not so good for placement because we didn't get any placement. College infrastructure is also not so good. College some teachers are good in behaviour. Some are good in teaching but some teachers are not.

As far as your percentile is concerned let me tell you that among all the campuses BIT Mesra is the best and so is it's placements but let me tell you that in these campuses do not take any lower branch because then it will have affect on your placements surely.
So, if you are taking non core branches then you will get decent placements like 10-12L per annum.
