Bishnupada Primary Teachers Training College in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal is an institute only for for aspiring teachers. This coeducational college is relatively new, having been founded in 2013 however, has risen through the ranks to become an important institution in training teachers. The college which occupies a small area of 1 acre of land is an affiliated college recognised by National Council for Teacher Education for its courses and programmes offered. With a focus on primary and elementary education, the institute offers two full-time courses: ,Including B. Ed & D. El. Ed of 150 combined seating capacities for students.

Bishnupada Primary Teachers Training College offers two primary courses: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed ). Both are 2-year programmes Occupational and are designed to prepare students for the teaching profession full time teaching. The course on Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) aims at training teachers for primary classes and is approved for 100 students whereas the course on Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) training teachers for secondary classes consists of intake of 50 students. This made the total number of students taking the college to 150 with the college admitting 100 students every year.
