Bishnupur Public Institute of Engineering, popularly known as BPIE, was established in the year 2010 at Siromonipur, Bishnupur, West Bengal. This affiliated college is approved by AICTE and imparts various diploma courses in engineering streams. The Institution is situated on a sprawling 15-acre campus and has established itself as one of the upcoming promising technical Institutions in the region. This institution is enrolled with 1,344 students and a faculty strength of 75. The institution provides an ideal environment for learning and growth. BPIE offers five diploma courses across various engineering specialisations to cater to the diverse interest of aspiring engineers.

Its facilities array is good enough and adds up to the entire learning experience offered at the institute. Bishnupur Public Institute of Engineering provides separate hostels for boys and girls, where students from different parts of the country have a comfortable stay. The college library serves as a hub of knowledge with more than 9,535 books pertaining to different branches of engineering, in addition to 12 journal titles and 400 volumes of journals. it offers very good facilities to sports enthusiasts, such as a big open sports complex for outdoor games like cricket and football, along with indoor games like carom, chess, and table tennis. BPIE has a total of five full-time diploma courses in engineering, having a combined student intake of 600 seats across the programmes. These include a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Computer Science and Technology. Each course is designed such that the students get a basics-based topic background in their chosen fields of expertise to ensure bright careers in the engineering sector.
