The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme with an intake capacity of 100 students the course is meant for candidates who would wish to teach at secondary level. The fifty seat capacity Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course trains students for teaching in the primary school. Both programmes encompass two years and offer the main coursework in the theories and practices of pedagogy. The total enrolment of the college is 150 divided in these two programmes as the college is very selective in preparing teachers.

Admission process of the BL Educational Teachers Training College is aimed at being merit-based and clear.
