For CSE, the main thing required is exposure and the industry-academia collaboration. So lets see the placement statistics of both colleges.
Some of the top recuiters of BMSIT are K 12 TECHNOLOGIES, DELPHI, KOFLUENCE, RELIANCE,3X3 CONNECT, DIRECTI, KPIT, RMC CEMENTS, AAYUJA TECHNOGIES, ENDURANCE INTL, L & T TECH SERVICES, ROBERT BOSCH, ABB EPICOR, L&T EBG ,SAINT GOBAIN. Around 50 companies has visited the campus during last five years continuously.
Whereas REVA has 300+ recruiting partners so far with 21lpa being the highest package offered so far.

Both these college are good.

But when we compare these college according to placements wise then:

In Reva college approx 70-75 % students get placed every year.

Approx package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum.

Highest package offered is approx 10 -12 lacs per annum.

Now comes on BMIST college

In BMIST college approx 80 % students get placed every year.

Avg package offered is same as Reva college 3.5 lacs per annum.

But highest package offered is approx 12-14 lacs per annum.

So, In my opinion BMSIT is good opinion.

As per previous year data, KCET cutoff for BMSIT for CSE is 3434. Rank cutoff changes every year so prepare to score your best.

You can practice, prepare and plan your score. Rank list is created by the board which is not in your hand. If you score good then you will get good rank.

try to score 80% of the total score. Solve previous year papers. Check your performance by appearing mock tests and focus more on the weak sections. It is not important to cover all and every chapter but to understand whichever you are covering.

if you are forgetting or get confused then make figures, flow charts and diagrams to remember them.

if you want to join top college then it would be better to get a rank below 1k.  Ramaiah college accepts upto 10k for general category. if you have reservation category then you can use it.

CSE/ECE is highly demanded branch. as per previous year data, Ramaiah College engineering cutoff for CSE was 1.1k and for ECE was 2k.  for BMSIT, CSE :- 1k and ECE :- 1.5k.

In other way, you can study as per rank. you can study by planning how to cover more questions accurately which will contribute to your total score. practice and prepare so that you score above 80% of the total marks.

You cannot KCET until and Unless you fulfill some basic eligibility criteria like If you have studied for atleast 7 years in any of the government institution in the state of Karnataka, you can apply for KCET 2017. Along with it you have to follow other requirements defined by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

To get CSE(general category) your rank should be around 3500-4200(Special rounds)

It is not the direct donation they take but its is a type of Donation only.

You will have to pay a much higher fees than the regular Students.

For CSE you will have to pay around 8.5 lakh per Year. To get management quota also you will have to fulfill their basic eligibility criteria like min. marks in 12th and COMEDK.

Hostel fees is around 60k and mess charges is 35k

 BMSIT has good placements for CSE, ISE, and MEC. There are at least three to five companies coming every week for placements and students are given ample opportunities. This year the highest package went up to 19 Lacs

If you had completed your 3 years diploma in any discipline with any college or university , so you are definitely eligible for taking admission in 3 year  degree UG course through lateral entry.

The bms college of engg. also offers admission through lateral entry in 3 year degree course UG.

The basic eligibility criteria is :-

A candidate who has passed Qualifying Examination i.e. any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45 % ( for General Merit Candidates) of marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (i.e.,fifth and six semesters) diploma examination (Q E) is eligible for admission to B E-Courses and 40% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka Candidates.

The lateral admission there is not mentioned any type of exam procedure,so the will be through the State Level Counselling held every year.

Or as it is a private or autonomous institute you can get direct admission if the seats in 2nd year are vacant or available.

I am. Providing a brief review about the factors that you have asked.

Placements:

Placements in this college are pretty good compared to other colleges as it is the sister branch of main BMSCE college. The average salary package offered ranged between 6 to 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA and the highest salary package went up to 27 LPA. CSE and ISE departments are the best for placements.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is pretty good. The college is known for its greenery and has more than 10,000 species of trees on campus. The college has fantastic labs and research labs. Classrooms are spacious and proper ventilated. It is also good for sports like basketball, badminton, volleyball, football etc.

Faculty : All teachers in the college are either PhD or postgraduate with good knowledge and years of teaching experience. They provide us with notes, and we are free to ask our doubts. Project-based learning is also involved, and we have to prepare for innovative and case study concepts and questions.

Hostel:The hostel life at bmsit is very good. When you get used to it, feels like home. However, just like other hostels the food is not very good. Also playground and gym facilities are available to refresh the students from studying. This is all the information that I could provide. Rest you will experience when you actually visit there.
