BN Saha DAV Teachers Training College was established in 2008 in Giridih, Jharkhand. It is a co-educational teachers training institution that has main purpose of producing future teachers through its teacher training courses. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi the college functional on a compact area of 1 Acres. The college has an enrolment capacity of total students 57 and faculty of 17 teachers which enable us to keep the student teacher ratio ideal for better teachings and academic environment. 

The BN Saha DAV Teachers Training College has various assets that provide support to the superior learning as well as general transitional development of students. A well stocked library is pertinent as it contains students with most of the educational information they require in their study. Computerisation of the college addresses the challenges arising from increased knowledge in current methods of teaching in present day teaching arena. On seven campuses there are sports equipment and a gym, so students are free to exercise and have fun. An auditorium is used to host events and seminars which ensures active academic community. The college also tries to promote student health with a health centre having facilities for first aid. And, there is a canteen to provide food requirements of staff as well as students, which enhances the students’ fraternity feel in campus.

BN Saha DAV Teachers Training College currently offers one full-time course: The Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) programme is the one referred on this article. Offered in two years, this program is intended to nurture manpower capable of enriching their careers in teaching by imparting to them the key values of teaching profession. This college has been granted an annual admission limit of one hundred students for this course, an indication of its ability to produce a large number of qualified teachers each academic year.
