BSMPG College, Roorkee was one of the affiliated colleges at Roorkee, Uttarakhand in 1958. This BSMPGC is one of the premier institutions that has been catering to students with a great legacy of imparting education for over six decades since its inception. This railway Road-based college provides a multitude of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across all disciplines. With faculty strength of 14 devoted professionals, the main purpose behind BSM PG College is to provide students with better education.

BSMPG College boasts of proclaiming the ample facilities that add to the glory of value in student learning. Foremost among the potpourri of facilities available on the campus are the college library-a storehouse of knowledge, to say the least. The library contains over 25,000 volumes, with many of them dating back to the 18th century. It provides a quiet atmosphere for research and study. The services include lending libraries, reference libraries, paperback libraries, non-print media, and an extensive list of journals. Librarian's Quarters The library is made rather friendly with plush sofas, allowing students to burrow into their studies. BSM PG College offers 27 undergraduate and postgraduate courses under seven degree programmes, offering students both undergraduate and graduate level courses, besides a mix of traditional and self-financed programmes.

Available undergraduate programmes comprise B. Com, BA, and BSc. The available postgraduate courses include MCom, MA, and MLibISc, which are exclusively full-time courses.
