BSS College of Science and Art, Jalaun, was established in the year 2014. It is an affiliated college in Orai, Uttar Pradesh, and is located nearby Jhansi Kanpur Highway on Karmer Road. The institution has spread over 2.5-acre campus. Further, this is approved by NCTE and has three different degree courses with a total student strength of 667 students. With a faculty of 21, BSS College is the best in ensuring that the student-to-faculty ratio it maintains is recommendable enough to make personalized attention accrue to the students.

The D.El.Ed program is of two years' duration, with an approved intake of 100 students, whereas the BA and B.Sc programs are of three-year duration. Such programs are designed to give students a sound base in their major fields of study and prepare them for their future studies in academic programs or professional careers

The admission process is considered based on different programs offered at BSS College of Science and Art. Admission to the D.El.Ed course is made absolutely based on the merit marks that the candidates score in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. It may also be guided by the state government or UT administration norms in terms of specific selection.
