Budha College of Education, Karnal was established in 2007 as a pioneer teacher-training institute in Haryana, India. It is a co-educational college offering courses essentially in special educationist programmes. The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University and has approval from NCTE for assuring quality education in the field of teaching. The institution is set across 6 acres. Budha College of Education is an academically-oriented learning institution. Moreover, the intake capacity of the college is 384 students, and the total faculty strength is 15 in number.

Budha College of Education imparts purposeful learning to its students opting for careers in teaching. The infrastructure of the college is incomparably well-furnished to enhance the academic environment of the students. Separate hostel accommodation is available on the campus for boys and girls. Electricity, water supply, and Wi-Fi connectivity are provided continuously in the hostels. Facilities for recreation are available to the students in the form of a TV room, indoor games, and a gymnasium. Much importance has been given to health and wellness as evidenced by the first-aid facility and fully equipped gymnasium. Academic pursuits are delivered with the help of a well-stocked library, state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, and specialist laboratories. The cafeteria, auditorium where events and conferences can be held, and sports facilities make it possible to follow the principle of holistic development in this campus.

Budha College of Education offers two full-time courses in Education, namely: B.Ed., with an intake of 200 students approved by the concerned authority; and D.El.Ed, which can admit up to 50 students. Both programs would take two years to accomplish. The said programs embark on the purpose of comprehensive training for future teachers. With these two major programs, the focus of the college becomes directed towards teacher training with an aim to prepare its students for successful teaching careers.

Admission to Budha College of Education is as per guidelines framed by NCTE, Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and by the State Government. Admission to B.Ed. is through counseling based on reservations in accordance with the Govt. rules. In the case of D.El.Ed., admission shall be based on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination conducted by concerned authorities as per policies prescribed by the State Government.
