Burdwan Institute of Medical and Life Sciences was established in the year 2001. This institution is one of the most reputed educational institutions in Burdwan, West Bengal. Being an affiliated college inside the University Campus at Golapbag, it imparts education in medical and life sciences. Burdwan Institute of Medical and Life Sciences has fully equipped modern facilities for conducting academic programmes. There are a total of four courses within two degree programmes branching towards physiotherapy education: one undergraduate and three postgraduate programmes. These include one undergraduate programme, the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, and three postgraduate programmes at the Master's level in the form of a Master of Physiotherapy in Sports Physiotherapy, Orthopedics, and Neurology. All courses are full-time, demonstrating the Institute's commitment to intensive training with a practical orientation in the field of physiotherapy.
