Caussanel College of Arts and Ramanathapuram Science was started in the year 2005 and affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, India. This institution occupies 10 acres of land and teaches eighteen courses in eight different degree programs. With the total enrollments of 1509 students and with the faculty members of 29, the college offers optimal learning environment to pursue education. It is accredited with NAAC and Caussanel College aims at providing quality education in multifaceted stream of Arts, Science and Commerce. The institution outperforms the others in delivery of course since it has developed various courses to offer and well equipped facilities.

The college has various facilities with the aim of supporting the education process and the facilitation of the learner. A well endowed library stock a good number of books and journals for students use in their research and studies. The institution has departmental laboratories mainly focused on practical lessons such as physics and biochemistry laboratories with proper wellatested techniques’ instruments. Computer laboratories a are well developed where four labs comprising of one hundred and forty terminals are inter-connected by LAN as well as Wi-Fi. 

The discussions are supported by a digital language lab equipped with 30 computers and the best software increases the effectiveness of the learning process. In order to cater for the students need and for privacy, the college has two canteen sections for the Boys and the Girls respectively where they can get healthy meals and snacks.

In total, Caussanel College of Arts and Science provides 18 programs: 7 Bachelor and 11 Master courses. The course portfolio consists of full time programs in following discipline: Arts, Science and Commerce.
