CBS Group of Institutions, Jhajjar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Located in Fatehpuri, Jhajjar, Delhi-NCR, the CBS Group of Institutions, Jhajjar, was established in 2010. The affiliated college is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education and provides students with education about the different disciplines. The CBS Group of Institutions is spread over 32 sprawling acres of land and has an enrolment of 379 students with a faculty strength of 89. 

The institute boasts high-end infrastructural facilities and comprehensive facilities for an improved learning experience for the students. The laboratories and workshops are well equipped, and the latest equipment and machinery assist in the conduction of hands-on practical sessions that impart practical knowledge along with theoretical ideas in the curriculum. At the core of academic resources lies the Institute Library, with over 10,000 books pertaining to different streams. The library also subscribes to national and international journals and magazines. It opens 12 hours a day, providing an ideal environment for study and research work. There are also different hostels for boys and girls, which can cater for about 250 students in each hostel. The hostels are well accommodated for the comfort of the students, with air-conditioned rooms available to the demand.

CBS Group of Institutions offers a wide variety of courses suited for different academic interests. The institute offers full-time courses in engineering, management, and computer application fields at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The key courses include the B.Tech. programme in different streams, such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering. The postgraduate level includes programs like MBA, MCA, and M.Tech. The sanctioned intake of all these courses varies; most of the B.Tech courses have 60 seats, and MCA and MBA also with 60. The sanctioned intake for M.Tech courses ranges between 18 to 24 depending on specialization

The process of admission in CBS Group of Institutions varies from one to another. Whereas B.Tech is made mainly on JEE Main rank basis wherein 75% of the seats are filled through HSCS, the rest through the Institutional Level Management Committee. MBA admits students based on valid AIMA conducted MAT, and in the case of MCA, through OLET (MCA) conducted by HSCS. In the admissions of M.Tech, the basis selected is the GATE scores. The institute also admits students through the Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET) for the B.Tech programs.
