CED College of Education is an affiliated College, which was established in 2002 at Narbal in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. This institution is located along the Srinagar-Gulmarg Main Road and offers teacher education programmes. CED College has 241 students and 14 faculty members making it possible for those intending to teach to have the best experience. The college currently provides two full-time courses: namely, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a Master of Education (M.Ed) in facilitating undergraduate and post graduate college levels of education respectively.

The college has available resources that are intended to improve the learning environment and further learning. These include such amenities as a modern library that can be recognized as a very important source of information. Regarding practical experiences, numerous departmental laboratories are retained for the college’s students, so they can train under practical session in their chosen area of specialization. 

Also on the campus is a Special Venue, namely the Auditorium to host the seminars or Cultural and other related activities enhancing the learning environment. In order to achieve health sector and also encourage team spirit sporting amenities are accessible to all students. To enhance student health there is a medical center where basic health services including first aid are provided. Also, there is a good investment in the quality IT equipment, and this presents the students with quality tools that meet their education requirements.

What make CED College of Education stand out is that it has the following two focused programs of study. B.Ed as a two-year full-time course has an approved intake capacity of one hundred students per year. This programme is intended to produce professionals who will be able to teach at secondary school level. The Master of Education (M.Ed), is also a two-year full time programme, admitting 30 students per year, designed for those who wish to build upon their existing knowledge of education and who are interested in leadership or research positions in schooling. Each of them is designed to help the student gain a broad knowledge of the educational theories and of the different approaches and actual skills needed in a classroom.

Admission to this College of Education aims to enroll serious minded and those with passion for teaching profession. To meet the accommodation need for the students who travel from distant parts of the country, the college provides a different hostel for girl and boys. This provision of on-campus housing fosters a very active campus life.
