Founded in the year 2005, CG Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology is located in Tarsadi, Gujarat, and the institute is a constituent college of the university. The institute imparts education in biotechnology and microbiology through its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. This compact 1-acre campus has a faculty strength of 15 members. It has a total of 9 courses across 4 degree levels. CG Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology has a diverse student enrolment of 1,752, comprising 39 male and 61 female students. The Institute takes pride in this particular uniqueness as an emerging destination for the budding scientist or researcher in the above-mentioned disciplines of biotechnology and microbiology.

There is an adequately equipped computer lab with 30 terminals helping students avail of minimum necessary technological aids in the use of information technology. The state-of-the-art laboratories include facilities in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and genetic engineering, among other areas. The college runs its own bus service to ensure connectivity between Bardoli and the campus.
