Ch Jagan Singh Educational Institute in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India was started in 2008 and is a co-educated affiliated college. Located in an area of about 1 acre of land, this institute is one of the pioneers of education in the region. The current enrolment of students in the college is 194 and the faculty comprises of 16 members, therefore the institute has preserved a small scale learning system. The college presents only three courses of study and these are education related, that is B.Ed, BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed to be precise.

Ch Jagan Singh Educational Institute offers three full-time courses, a two year B.Ed programme  and two four year Integrated B.Sc B.Ed and BA B.Ed programmes  are offered by the college. These programmes are offered for those intending to teach, aiming at combining theoretical training with pedagogy skills. .

Ch Jagan Singh Educational Institute follows merit based admission criteria depending on marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination as well as entrance test. For the B.Ed programme, the candidates should possess a Bikaner University or any other UGC recognised University degree. The institute is built with a Training and Placement Cell through which the graduating students are placed and companies are allowed to conduct camous recruitment. This clearly shows that the college has prime interest of the students in the transition from the college to the workplace.
