Chandragupta Maurya College of Education, Patna was started in the year 2016 and is a co-educational institute for teacher training. Situated at Kala Bhagwanpur, Sadishopur Bikram Road, Patna, Bihar, this affiliated college has been working under the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi (NCTE). This college is spread across a compact campus of 1 acres, with an existing student strength of 46 and a faculty strength of 16. 

Chandragupta Maurya College of Education has all kinds of facilities that can help in enhancing the learning experience and all-round development of students. A well-stocked library would act as an information center, supplying all the required books for a student pursuing his course in teaching. It is aware of the requirement for physical fitness; thus, there are sports facilities and a gym for the students to keep fit. Chandragupta Maurya College of Education offers a compact curriculum with two main courses in the stream of Education. Both B.Ed and D.El.Ed. are full-time two-year courses. The balanced approach to education has been adopted in the college; every course is approved for an intake of 100 students in the program, totalling 200 seats for both courses. 

Admission to Chandragupta Maurya College of Education is based on merit and is in accordance with the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated university. B.Ed and D.El.Ed admissions are based on qualifying marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The college may also admit students on the basis of entrance examination scores or follow other selection procedures as envisaged from time to time.
