Charles Babbage College Of Information Technology, Sambalpur was established in 2010 is an affiliated college situated at Santinagar, Budharaja, Sambalpur, Odisha. The institute, situated in a tightly contained 0.6-acre area, is aimed primarily at delivering good education in the IT field. Currently the college has enrolled 123 students and faculties 10 thus it has strength student teacher ratio. At present, the institute is building up only one course of its own, offering a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree to those students who are keen on carving a niche in the growing field of IT.

Charles Babbage College Of Information Technology takes a very serious stand on creating the best environment for learning for its students. It has a well endowed library that is very useful in the academic and research activities of the institution.  Realising the importance of technology in today’s world, this institution has established a fine known as Charles Babbage College of Information Technology. This modern facility enables students to equip themselves with the most recent equipment and trends on the market to meet IT professional needs.

On the line of the degree courses taught by the college, at present there is only one full time course named Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). This programme is a three year undergraduate programme that will prepare students with an understanding of computer science and its uses. BCA at Charles Babbage College now has the approved intake of 30 students which makes us able to focus on each students and provide quality education. 

Admission to Charles Babbage College of Information Technology follows an easy process and more admissive than selective.  The concentration of the college to offer a single course makes it to offer quality education in computer applications with limited resources and time. Considering the situation that the institute expands and develops more and more, the institute aspire to cultivate lots of the manpower that can in innovative ways invest the dynamics in the institute technology.
