Chaudhari College of Education, Gandhinagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Chaudhari College of Education, Gandhinagar was established in the year 2007. It is recognized professional teacher training institution in the area located in Sector 7, near the Bus Stand, Gandhinagar in the state of Gujarat. It is an affiliated college and is accredited at the "A" Grade, having been approved by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and also by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). The college campus is ideally located over a 72-acre expansive campus. The courses offered under full-time system are B.Ed and D.El.Ed. There is an experienced faculty of 16 members. 

Chaudhari College of Education aims to provide modern facilities in the bundle for bettering the learning experiences of our students. More than 7,000 books, academic magazines, newspapers, and educational CDs are available in CHCE's library. The library has been fitted throughout with modern facilities to provide easy access to any kind of information source, favorable for the academic quest. The lab is fully supplied with modern laboratories, including a psychology lab and a science lab following NCTE norms, which would be a place to learn through hands-on practice. The campus also has a computer lab with over 50 systems to make sure that students do not lose touch with the march of technology in education. The college also has a spacious playground to help with for outdoor games  and an assembly hall with a provision to use it as a prayer hall, able to accommodate over 250 students in this space for other community activities and functions.

The institute offers mainly two courses in teacher education : The B.Ed has 100 seats, while the D.El.Ed provides 50 seats. These are full-time programs, and each runs for two years. The programs are structured to endow students with the necessary skills and knowledge that will see them through in the excellence of offering quality education. 

The admission process varies at Chaudhari College of Education from course to course. For the B.Ed course, the admission is through central admission by Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. For the D.El.Ed the process is merit-based on one's performance in the qualifying examination or entrance examination as state government policies direct. The college encourages female students in an environment fit to uplift women in the field of education.
