Established in 2004, Chaudhary Mukhtar Singh Government Girls Polytechnic, Meerut, is one of the renowned technical institutions facilitating the needs of women located at Daurala, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. This state-government-run polytechnic institution sprawls over a sprawling 14.2-acre campus and has emerged as an institution of excellence in technical education for aspiring women engineers. It is an approved institute by the All India Council for Technical Education and offers three diploma programmes with a sum intake of 143 into both the programmes. Chaudhary Mukhtar Singh Government Girls Polytechnic offers three full-time diploma programmes that last for three years. The approved intake of the institute is for a total of 120 students: 60 students for the Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering and 30 students each for the Diploma in Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Information Technology. The admission process in Chaudhary Mukhtar Singh Government Girls Polytechnic is through the entrance examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP). This Full Stretch examination is always conducted on the last Sunday of April, every year. Results are always declared by the end of May. The admission forms can be procured by interested applicants from all polytechnics in the state of Uttar Pradesh. These admission forms normally come out in the middle of December. The admission process gets completed by the last week of June.
