Chitkara Design School, Jhansla has been set up in 2010 and is located on the Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway in Punjab, India as a constituent of Chitkara University. This college for both male and female students has an abundance of options in design specialisation to cater for every creative inclination. In this regard, Chitkara Design School offers 9 courses of 4 types of degrees and already today it acts as a centre where up-and-coming designers can start their journey. These aspects make students understand that the school is fully committed to deliver quality education on design by offering good curriculum and infrastructure.
Chitkara Design School has many facilities which are intended to complement the learning process of the students. A sophisticated auditorium as a facility for events, seminars etc and performance and interaction with professionals enriches the academic culture. State-of-art laboratories and workshops of the college are equipped with latest instruments and tools, legal softwares to make the students capable to meet the real business environment requirements. Academic library As one of the fundamental source of information in learning institutions, the library provides a diversity of materials as textbooks and other resources in the form of multimedia for use by the students and is well staffed with the personnel ready to help in the research activities of the students. In order to facilitate and induce the students, the campus has arranged hostels for both boys and girls separately providing internet facility having common TV and recreation room.
Chitkara Design School provides a total of 9 courses for which; all the courses are full time- BFA and MFA etc.. The institute offers admission to candidates who are eligible and provides them with scholarships offered by the Punjab Government and AICTE. To apply for Chitkara Design School scholarships, candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility requirements. Chitkara Design School doesn’t offer any direct scholarships but students can apply for government scholarships. The scholarship schemes are offered to students who belong to minorities, SC/OBCs, or from Jammu and Kashmir.

AICTE’s Scholarship for J&K students | Students should be domicile of Union territories of J&K or Ladakh. Family income should not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakh per annum. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from JKBOSE or CBSE-affiliated schools located in UT of J&K or Ladakh. Passed 10+3 Diploma from UT of J&K or Ladakh Polytechnic (if seeking admission directly in the second year in an engineering course). Having category certificate as per the reservation policy of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, if wants to avail the benefits. |

College infrastructure is so beautiful. It has big and beautiful buildings. There are many blocks. Picasso (our design block) is the most beautiful block. There are also many other awesome blocks worth watching.
The college provides us good infrastructure. The building is beautiful. I study in picaso block and is is beautifully designed the infrastructure. The college has a good Library and cafeteria. All basic amenities are available
The college have great environment and provide a lot of facilities chitkara's working is very fastt .they provide us a good living area in the hostel and they have a good sports area too. Chitkara is good in terms of infrastructure
