• The Department of Civil Engineering at Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology organised an expert talk on "Building the Future: BIM and Infrastructure Integration for Sustainable Development” in September 2023.

• Students of Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology attended a flagship event organised by The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), Chandigarh Chapter at Holiday Inn in Chandigarh in October 2023.

Chitkara University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansla was established in the year 2002. The institute is affiliated to Chitkara University, Patiala and is accredited by NAAC. The institute offers various courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. These courses include BA, B.Sc, B.Com, MA and M.Sc courses. The duration of these courses ranges from 2 to 6 years. CUIET Jhansla admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination and merit.  candidates have to appear for the JEE-Mains entrance examination for B.Tech, Pearson Test Score and SAT score for BCA and on the basis of marks scored in the previous qualification for PG courses like M.Tech and MCA. Candidates qualifying for the entrance examination have to appear for the counselling process or personal interview. CUIET Jhansla offers placement to its students in reputed companies of various sectors. The institute also offers scholarships to students who are need of financial assistance.
