Choithram College of Professional Studies is an affiliated college set up in 2006 and is located in Indore – the heart of Madhya Pradesh. This institution is situated on NH-59, Dhar Road and the area under its roof is 60 acres; it provides students with both strong academic background and needed facilities. Santrupti has 660 students per year and 5 members in the faculty, and offers a wide ranging 8 courses in 5 degree programmes. Some of specialities are Mass Communication, Computer Science, Biotechnology Commerce and Management for students who may be inclined into different fields.

Among the physical resources in the college which has received much attention concerns the development of more facilities to support learning. The core of the Learning Centre is a large library containing a vast number of both, academic and reference books in every subject imaginable. In the area of information access, there is a management software to manage the borrowing of books whilst subscription to different journals, especially in Mathematics, Zoology and Commerce, exposes student to new development in those fields. Physical facilities are well developed in the college and this is reflected in it’s well equipped laboratories to support students that favors practical oriented college. Computer Science, Physics, Zoology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and a Mass Communication Studio are the particular laboratories for students where students have practical experiences most important for the courses.

The outlines of programmes offered at the Choithram College of Professional Studies include full time courses for Undergraduate and Post Graduate level. Its offered courses cut across the various discipline s making it possible for any student to have a variety when it comes to choice of courses to take. It has a total number of 8 courses across the stream including some of its signature and sought after shelter like: BA Mass Communication (Hons), B.Com (Computers Application & Taxation), B.Sc (Computer Science & Biotechnology), BBA, M.Com, and Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga. The total student numbers are at 660 and this speaks to the fact that the college has the capacity of admitting a good number of potential students in its learning programmes.

A well equipped Gym is also available for the students who have interest in other physical fitness exercises. 

The college recognises the need to eat and have the facility of a canteen to allow the students come and buy snacks and lunch at affordable rates. To and from college, the college provides transport facilities for students travelling from different areas of the city. Health care is provided through a health centre with first aid amenities while an adjacent guest house or waiting bay is provided for other faculty and students’ families.
