Choudwar College which was set up in 1978 is affiliated College located at Choudwar in Cuttack Dist of Odisha. Located in a sprawling 10-acre area of land, this co-educational college has a wide spectrum of undergraduate courses in the faculties of arts, science, as well as commerce. The college holds recognition from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proving the fact that the college is seriously concerned about the quality of education it imparted to the community. At present total strength of students in Choudwar College is 1,448 boys & girls and faculty members, a total in number 45 continue to foster an effective learning environment. The institute currently provides 18 courses under 10 disciplines of six degree programmes in English, Oriya, Politics Science, Physics, Chemistry and Commerce.

The college has many facilities. A well-equipped library also fulfils an important service of providing knowledge on as many and as wide a range of topics as possible. For the people who like exercise, the college features a gym as well as sports equipment. This guarantees its students have a touch with today’s information technology whilst laboratories satisfy practical purposes. An auditorium holds different occasions and seminaries so that the campus has a lively atmosphere. The college also provides a canteen, a few guest rooms and a medical centre equipped with first aid amenities. 

Choudwar College Cuttack offers full-time courses. Choudwar College Cuttack offers a total of 18 courses at the undergraduate level. The course offerings span across three main streams: Arts (BA), and Science (B.Sc and Commerce (B.Com). The Science stream has honours programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics. Commerce students are offered B.Com with specialization in Accounting and Management, and an ordinary B.Com programme.
