Churu Balika Mahavidyalaya, was established in 1981 and it is an affiliated college of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. Located at the PM road Near Madan Memorail Station, this institution has been delivering education to the students for more than four decades. At present, the college occupies an area of 3.2 acres that offers the most favourable ground for learning among students. It has a total number of students of 1,741 & has 7 faculty members, Churu Balika Mahavidyalaya provides its courses in various fields. The college has offered 7 courses and 5 degree programmes to meet the need of different students’ academic goals.

Churu Balika Mahavidyalaya boasts of its adequate and functional facilities that are incorporated in the college to support learning for the students. The library, a store house of knowledge, has a stack of 20000 books, and number of national journals and newspapers in Hindi and English. On the same note, students are offered an accommodating reading section to further improve the research and self-study culture. The college also has well equipped laboratories for different courses that are available in the college. The labs for cooking, tailoring, dyeing and interior decoration are well laid and the designed Geography, Chemistry, Botany, Physics and Zoology labs adequately facilitates the students’ practical sessions. The new computer laboratory in the college fully furnished with air conditioner standing out as a district College workshop for theles students for the new world computer age.

Churu Balika Mahavidyalaya provides courses to fit all the learners’ interests. It offers 7 full time programmes, these include both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Undergraduate degrees include BA, B.Com and B.Sc. Moreover, for the scholars, the college consists of MA in Hindi, Sanskrit, and Geography along with M.Sc Computer Science. All these courses are comprehensive in nature with specific view of knowledge and skills in their areas of specialisation.
