CKR Institution of Education, Bhurulia, Nadia, West Bengal was set up in the year 2015. This is a co-educational affiliated college. The institution, affiliated by National Council for Teacher Education, imparts education in the field of teacher education. The compact 1-acre campus offers an ideal learning environment to its students who pursue a teaching career. With a enrolment of 200 students and 7 faculty, CKR Institution of Education assures personal attention towards its students. 

The institution has a host of facilities to make learning more meaningful for its students. It has a very resourceful college library that helps students get access to educational materials and literature. Facilities for sports are available within the campus for physical development and recreation. There are departmental laboratories to provide hands-on learning experiences, which are quite important for practical teacher training. The institutional campus has an on-campus auditorium that helps in organizing various events and seminars. There is also a Health Centre with first-aid facilities for the staff and students, with their well-being in mind.

The CKR Institution of Education at Bhurulia offers only two-year full-time BEd courses. This focused curriculum, complemented by a reasonable class size, enables the college to achieve an optimal balance between comprehensive coverage of the subjects related to teacher education and individual attention to students.  

Admission to the CKR Institution of Education shall be based on merit in accordance with the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. Selection of candidates will be made based on their performance in the qualifying examination at the undergraduate degree level. The admission procedure may also, in some courses, include an entrance examination or other selection processes.
