The College of Applied Science, Adoor (CAS Adoor) is well known institute founded in 1994. This is an affiliated college of Kerala for which is located in Adoor and they offer a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. CAS Adoor encompasses a 1.875-acre of land and currently enrols 806 students with help of 46 staff members including faculty. Presently, the college offers 13 courses in seven degrees: Computer Science, Electronics, Commerce, and English. Owing to its principles of providing qualitative education and emphasis on the pragmatic learning environment CAS Adoor has emerged as favourite and preferred institutions among the student community interested in the applied science and its related fields.

College of Applied Science, Adoor is well equipped with infrastructure that will support learning activities of the students. The college library equally plays the role of a resource centre whereby students have easy access to a variety of books journal and other electronic materials. The institution boasts one of the best IT facilities that students to be conversant with IT requirements of their chosen disciplines. There is an adequate space for academic and co curricular activities, where there is aseminor and various other activities the college has a big auditorium to accommodate all the programmes. Moreover, CAS Adoor provides convenient, departmentalized appropriate professional laboratories for students to practice in respective subjects. It also understand the need for student to be healthy by providing sports amenities to enable students have a balance between health, education, and other aspects of their lives.

The courses provided by CAS Adoor are extensive and varied to answer the requirements of the majority of students and their prospective employments. This college offers a total of thirteen courses for the general public and for university students being under graduate and post graduate. Such programmes are typically, full time taught on campus and are intended to give indepth knowledge and skills. The colleges approved intake for all the offered courses is 380 students as a way of enhancing student faculty ratio for efficient learning.
