College of Engineering, Vairag is an affiliated college that was established in 2010. The college is situated in the heart of Maharashtra, on the Solapur-Barshi State Highway in the Barshi Taluka, Solapur District. The college offers different programmes in Engineering, having the following four major specialisations: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. CEV, being truly committed to its goal of delivering quality education, has the aim to shape professionals fully preapared to face the challenges of modern technophiles.

The College of Engineering, Vairag, is well-furnished with a campus having different facilities provided for students to omprove their learning and development. The institution is well-equipped with laboratories for each department that would help students get hands-on practical experience with the backing of theoretical knowledge. The college provides sports facilities for the physical well-being and recreational needs of the students. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls at CEV offer a decent living environment to students who come from other towns. There is an auditorium in the campus that aids the conduction of events and seminars. This offers a lively academic atmosphere to the students. A health centre with first-aid facilities is available in the college campus to take care of the medical needs of the students. It also offers a guest house and a waiting room to visiting faculty and families of students, which reflects the sensitive approach towards hospitality by the institution.

College of Engineering, Vairag offers four full-time B.Tech programmes, each of four years duration. These programmes belong to different branches of Engineering, thereby offering variations to students in order to pursue interest and a career goal. Although intakes for each programme is not specified, the college aims to maintain an ideal student-to-faculty ratio. There are four B.Tech programmes: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
