The College of Horticulture and Forestry is one of the premier constituent colleges, located at Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, India; it was established in the year 2001. This institution is co-educational and pride pursuits of excellence in horticulture and forestry sciences in its beautifully sprawling campus of 145 acres. It has adopted a diversified approach in its 7 courses across 3 degree levels, with a total student enrolment of 319. On the faculty side, it has a strength of 33, thereby maintaining a very conducive student-to-teacher ratio to ensure personalised attention and quality education.

The College of Horticulture and Forestry has excellent amenities making the learning process convenient and comfortable for students, segregated hostels for boys and girls equipped with modern facilities like modular kitchens, uninterrupted power supply, and recreation rooms equipped with LCD TVs. Well-stocked library provides online resources; particularly, access to foreign periodicals has been brought in through the CeRa consortium. The institution has made provision for both indoor and outdoor sports from table tennis and badminton to volleyball and gym facilities. Well-equipped laboratories, an auditorium with an intake capacity of 320 persons, and Wi-Fi on campus have been provided for academics. Medical needs have been provided for by a medical unit with paramedics and visiting doctors on campus. 

The various courses in horticulture, forestry, and agriculture have been provided for by the college. The undergraduate programmes include B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons) with 48 seats, B.Sc. Forestry with 27 seats, and B.Sc. Agriculture with 20 seats. At the postgraduate level, M.Sc.in Horticulture Vegetable Science, Horticulture in Fruit Science, and Forestry. A Ph.D. in Fruit Science and Vegetable Science is available to those who wish to pursue research at an advanced level. 

The admissions to different programmes in the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat are based on selecting candidate with most potential for the programmes. The college accepts, at the undergraduate level, test scores from the Common University Entrance Test, which is a test of national repute.
