The College of IT and Management Education (CIME), was set up in the year 2000, at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This constituent college located in a small area of 1.52 acres provides selective postgraduate programmes in Information Technology and Management. CIME Bhubaneswar has been accredited with NAAC and approved with AICTE which proves its quality education institution. As for now, the institute is honored to have 401 students enrolled in the institute; it further signifies their stringency in ensuring that the institute is able to maintain a favorable student faculty ratio with the help of its pool of equally dedicated teachers. CIM teaches four specific programmes offering full and part time programmes for various educational needs in the field of management, computer applications and engineering.

Due to its specialisation, the stream of CIME Bhubaneswar reflects the requirements for the IT and management fields in its academic programmes. At the present, the institute has four postgraduate courses in total: three full-time and one part-time programme. The full time courses consist MBA, MCA and M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) and part-time MBA for the working executives and managers to sharpen their management skills. The approved intake for the respective main programmes at CIME is 360 students Out of which CIME offers quality education with personal attention. It is for this reason that the college focuses more on postgraduate education ensuring that students are produces with enhanced skills to meet the market demands.

Admission at CIME Bhubaneswar majorly basis the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE), so that the admission procedure is not bias and is fair. This applies to all full time courses, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech programmes The reader should note that like in any other university, these course are conducted for a full time basis only. The college follows reservation policy of state for SC/ST /SEBC candidates who are from odisha only. For the MBA programme, those candidates, who have not appeared OJEE but have scored 50% or more marks in any discipline from any stream may come to the college directly for admission. Part time MBA programme also has its own procedure of admission more details of which are available in the college.
