College of Nursing, Thalassery: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The College of Nursing, Thalassery, was established in 1999, and it is an affiliated college in Kannur, Kerala state. This prestigious centre offering a number of nursing programs is INC approved and remains an important institution for healthcare learning among the youths. Located on a seeming land area of 40 acres, this college has a total enrollment of students as 132 and has a faculty with strength 20. Institute offers 4courses under 2degrees and it has specialization in different forms of nursing education. The College of Nursing Thalassery, is now recognized as the best institution to enroll oneself for studying nursing, and get practical training also.

Indeed, the College of Nursing, Thalassery, has brought the following range of facilities to support and complement the learning needs of the students. The land has male as well as female hostels fully equipped to accommodate those who wish to reside in the campus. A well stocked library is a source of information for the students to enhance their stock of knowledge on nursing and other related fields. The college also has a health center with first aid provision, in order to make sure all of its students are healthy. These include IT systems for the modern needs of educational process and research activities of the institution. The College of Nursing, Thalassery, provides a total of four full time programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate level of nursing programmes. The institute offers intakes for students in its different programmes; in total it enrolls 132 students, this makes the management ensure on controls the student to facilitator ratio for improved student learning. The college offers one undergraduate programme, the B.Sc Nursing, and three postgraduate programmes: M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing, M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, and M.Sc Paediatric Nursing degree programmes. These specialty courses are intended to enable students to acquire post-entry higher levels of knowledge in their sub fields of nursing.
