The College of Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Technical Education started in the year 2019; therefore, it is still a budding college of pharmacy in India. It is affiliated college situated at Noida’s Sector-62 which has been approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to maintain the standard prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India. Located in a two and half acre of area, the institute has total strength of 4,268 students and offer two pharmacy programmes. Currently, the college has 30 dedicated faculty members, and reasonably small student to faculty ratio ensures efficient interaction between the students and faculty members, which is essential for ambitious pharmacists. 

JSS Academy of Technical Education exhibits a number of facilities that have been advertised as state of art to improve students’ learning experience. There are well-equipped laboratories at the centre of academic facilities for the training required in a course in a school of pharmacy. The IT facilities at the institute are among the best; students are exposed to mittel all latest technological features during their time at the institute. There is a Boys’ and Girls’ Hostel in the college for those who have to be staying in the college premises; these are comfortable to live in. Students are freed from health complications with lifts facilitating easy access to theOn-campus gym and a health center that has first aid facilities. The college library is the main source of knowledge while the free wireless connection in the college ensures student connection and easy access to information in the college and outside. 

In regard to the college courses, the College of Pharmacy in JSS Academy of Technical Education provides the students with two major programmes in the sphere of the pharmacy. It has introduced two programmes such as Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) a two years course with an intake of 60 students and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) a four years course for 100 students per academic year. Both these full time courses are programmes with the depth of theoretical /systematic knowledge and skill requirements necessary for practice in the pharmacy field. An aggregate of 160 students have been approved to intake in both programmes which depicts the fact that institute is specific in terms of pharmacy courses, to provide excellent teaching standard and adequate attention to the students.

The requirements for entry into the College of Pharmacy of the JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida are simple and based on merit. There is no designation of the exact examination details; however, it is a tradition that scores of national or state level entrance tests for admittance may be considered by the pharmacy colleges. Unfortunately, the college truly cares about the education of all and accepts students even with minimal qualifications, but no information concerning scholarship is provided at the moment. In its formative years the College of Pharmacy has not yet developed a strong endorsement of its alumni but it plans on graduating competent professionals to the pharmacy field in the next few years.
