The College of Teacher Education, Rourkela, was established in 1981, is one of the leading institutions to pioneer the future of education. This affiliated college is in Sector-21, Rourkela, Odisha has been training budding educators for more than 45 years. The institute run by NCTE is offering quality teacher training programmes in its small campus of 0.5 acres. The college caters for a total number of 187 students and has 6 members of faculty which as a result the institutions achieves small class sizes that enhances efficiency and intimacy through personalised learning.

The B.Ed course is aimed to provide the participants with all the prerequisites to become efficient teachers, as well as relevant practical experience.
