CIDS Coorg: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in 1999 Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences (CIDS) is a dental college located at Virajpet, Coorg District, Karnatak. It is affiliated college located in a 30 acre campus and committed to deliver quality dental education and health care. NAAC accreditation and DCI approval make CIDS maintain the high quality educational standard. CIDS has a total enrolment of 266 students and 102 strong members of faculties, it provides 1 under graduate and 9 post graduate dental programme. In particular, 57% of students among new entrants in the institute are from other states which also promotes diverse culture of learning.

CIDS has an unrelenting desire to ensure that only the best facilities are offered in order to enhance the students experience and achievements. The admission process at CIDS is highly competitive based on the merit, and there is little or no flexibility given to students; the most important criterion considered during admission is performance on national level entrance examination. The BDS program gave admission according to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET) conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The Common Application is normally launched in January or February with adverts placed in most popular dailies. 

Concerning the postgraduate MDS courses, the admissions are given based on the NEET-MDS examination. Most dental colleges prefer the NEET-MDS application window that is from September to October with examinations from November to December.
