Crescent College of Nursing, Palakkad is affiliated college started in 2006 is situated at Venganniyur, Althur PO Palakkad District Kerala. The institute that is affiliated to INC, Indian Nursing Council offers three nursing programmes at UG and PG levels. Having a 5-acre campus the college enrols an estimated 164 students and is managed by 18 faculty members. The vision of Crescent College of Nursing is to produce health care professionals in the field of nursing that would arise to the challenge of meeting the healthcare demands of the future.

The college has a variety of facilities that are intended to improve the educational experience of the students. Thus, it can be used as a good source of the nursing literature and the variety of the materials that can be found in the library. To address these issues adequately, the college has embraced anticipated technology by availing IT facilities to enable the students to address the universality of applied technologies in Healthcare. The campus also has an indoor shape in the form of an auditorium used in events and seminars within the campus and the college fraternity. Fully equipped modern laboratories provide student practical experience in realistic scenario environment. In order for student guests, faculty members on sabbatical, and other visitors to seek comfort, the college offers guest room and waiting room amenities.

Crescent College of Nursing offers three full-time courses: B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) are some of course offered by these schools. The student intake for the 4 year undergraduate degree in B.Sc Nursing is 50 students as approved. The four years GNM programme intakes twenty students annually as mentioned above. The final course offered in the college is the M.Sc Nursing, a postgraduate course that takes two academic years to complete, but the college has not put down how many intakes it has for this programme. These programmes are characterized by an attempt to deliver both, a strong theoretical background and pragmatic experience, which allows students to have a successful professional activity in different healthcare facilities.
