CSI College of Education, Pasumalai, the college was started in 2006 as an affiliated college at Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This co-educational institution that is recognized by NCTE offers education in teacher education. The college occupies the largest area of 13 acres making it a perfect college for any intending educator. This College has a total of 87 students and the faculty student ratio is 10:1, which makes it to provide quality education and gives personal attention. The current editions include only one degree programme facilitating 100 inmates, which is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

The college has numerous amenities aimed at improving the student’s learning infrastructure and in their general development. The complex of the campus includes separate hostels for boys and girls to accommodate those who need it and are able to receive comfortable living conditions. More specifically, CSI College of Education, Pasumalai, is concerned mainly with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme which is a two years full time course. This programme remains the flagship course of the institute in terms of academic provision, with an approved capacity of one hundred students’ seat. B.El course helps to prepare the students as effective teachers who are able to teach at schools and understands the various pedagogy strategies.
