CSI College of Nursing is located at Kanyakumari and was started in 2012; it is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu to offer education in nursing. This co-educational institute is situated in Marthandam, Kanyakumari District, where prospective health care employees will receive care and concern. Situated in a 3-acre campus the college is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), hence, maintaining a quality standard of education. The college takes a total of 146 students and the faculty members strength is 16 that’s why CSI College of Nursing gives individual focus to students. The institute offers two specialised nursing programmes: B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM, offering different specialisation areas for practice in health sector.

The college has a number of facilities that put into enhancements of the learning environment for the college students. The centre piece of the clinical training is the 50 bedded CSI Hospital where students can practice in different specialty departments accompanied by the juniors and seniors of the faculty. The library with adequate resources in form of books and journals, Browsing and Photocopying facilities on internet is set as a knowledge centre of the Institute for its students. Prime location for skill development is the state-of the-art laboratories in Anatomy, Nutrition, Foundations of Nursing, Maternal & Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Computer Science. Transportation services are also provided by the college and the students can get themselves very comfortable with reaching at clinical postings as well as tie-up hospitals.

CSI College of Nursing offers two full-time courses: four-year B.Sc Nursing course having one hundred seats, and a three-year General Nursing and Midwifery course having forty seats. The total approved intake for all courses is 140 in order to ensure the best student/ teacher ratio is achieved. These programmes are focused to provide students with the depth theoretical knowledge and skills which are mandatory for becoming a successful nurse.
