Since 2006, Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy is one of the leading institutions in the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra. The said affiliation extends to a 2.5-acre campus known for its quality pharmaceutical education. DBCOP is accredited with an 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India. The institution offers 6 courses at 3 degree levels, with a total enrolment of 670 students and a faculty strength of 31.
DBCOP provides the students with the following infrastructural facilities for a better learning process. The institute is well-furnished with an excellent library having a rich collection of books, journals, and e-resources, supported by an environment which is conducive to study. Modern laboratories have facilities in the respective fields of pharmaceutical studies like: - Pharmaceutics - Quality Assurance - Pharmaceutical Chemistry - Pharmacology - Pharmacognosy. A high-tech computer laboratory is also available with 40 advanced systems and internet connectivity for the students. Also, there exists a fully air-conditioned seminar hall on the campus accommodating 200 participants and fitted with audiovisual facilities for all types of academic presentations or guest lectures.
The institute offers a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical education programs. DBCOP provides 6 courses in the full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. The B.Pharma program and the M. Pharma programs in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs; a B. Pharma Lateral Entry is available, and a Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Sciences is also provided.

The admission process to DBCOP is different from one program to another. For the B. Pharma program, the Institute grants admission on the basis of MHT-CET or NEET scores; a candidate seeking admission must have a non-zero score in either examination. The Institute considers GPAT scores conducted by AICTE for its M.Pharma programs. Ph.D. admissions are carried out in accordance with the rules enacted by Nagpur University, Nagpur.
