Dainhat Joy Matara Primary Teachers Training Institute, located in Nadia, West Bengal, is one of the most eminent teacher-educational institutions. It was established in 2003, and during the past twenty years, it has done much noble work in relation to the shaping of teachers. The institute has a small 1-acre campus with two specialized courses in education, enrolling 400 students.  It has 27 experienced teachers to therefore the ratio of students to teachers is very decent, ensuring individual attention and quality teaching.

Dainhat Joy Matara Primary Teachers Training Institute offers two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education, B.Ed., and Diploma in Elementary Education, D.El.Ed., both extending to two years. These courses help students to get acquainted with the requisites of teaching.

The admission process to Dainhat Joy Matara Primary Teachers Training Institute is merit-based, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.The institute's admission policies were according to the guidelines set by the state government of West Bengal, as well as those of the affiliated university.
