Danteswari College of Pharmacy, Jagdalpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Danteswari College of Pharmacy, Jagdalpur, was established in 2019. It is a new institution for pharmaceutical education. Situated at Borpadar, Raipur Road, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, this is a co-educational college and an affiliated institution approved by AICTE and PCI. The campus is spread over 3.6 acres, providing an atmosphere congenial for learning and research. Currently, the institution has 56 students enrolled and a faculty strength of 27, hence offering a good student-to-teacher ratio for individual attention and quality teaching. Other facilities provided by the college towards its students' academic and personal development are varied. 

Many departmental needs are catered to by these well-equipped laboratories, providing hands-on experience that is very necessary in pharmacy education. The library occupies its place as one of the cornerstones of the institution; it is amply stocked with all standard texts and reference books on pharmacy, hosts an online facility to e-journals of both Elsevier and Springer, provides seating for 100 students without overcrowding, and offers ample space with a congenial atmosphere for study and research. The IT infrastructure in the college has 25 computers provided with the latest configuration interlinked by a LAN and provided with internet connectivity of 32 Mbps to keep the students updated about technical developments in their field. 

Danteswari College of Pharmacy offers two courses: four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). Both courses are full-time in nature, with B. Pharma offered 100 seats and D. Pharma offered 60 seats. Hence, in total, there will be two courses at the undergraduate level. This simply indicates that the institution is concentrating on these core Pharmaceutical Science programs and permitting only specialized education and training in this particular field of pharmacy.
