Daswani Dental College and Research Centre, was established in Kota, Rajasthan in the year 2008. Daswani Dental College and Research Centre, Kota, is a premier institution for dental education and research institution. The institution has an admission process on the basis of merit as per the norms of relevant regulating bodies. The college considers mainly NEET for undergraduate admissions and for postgraduate programmes, an NEET MDS score for admission into the college.
The admission cycle usually begins with NEC and NEC MDS examinations. The candidate must complete the examination of 10+2 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for taking admission to the BDS program. This post has a sanctioned strength of 100 for the BDS program. All postgraduate candidates must complete their BDS degree from a recognized institution to be eligible for the MDS program.
Application Process
The college applications process varies according to the programme:
For BDS Program:
1. Take the NEET examination.
2. Register through the counseling process by the state agency concerned.
3. Fill out the application form, providing every detail, whether personal or academic.
4. Pay the required application fee.
5. Upload necessary documents, including NEET score card, 10+2 mark sheet and other certificates as specified.
6. Be patient for the merit list to be published and counseling dates to arrive.
7. Participate in the counseling process if shortlisted.
8. If not allotted a seat, report to the college for document verification and admission formalities.
For MDS Programs:
1. Appearance in NEET MDS.
2. Application through the All India quota (AIQ) counseling or state counseling, as per the case.
3. Application form completion with accurate details.
4. Payment of the required application fee.
5. Documents uploading, including the NEET MDS score card; BDS degree certificate; internship completion certificate; and any other required documents.
6. Waiting for the merit list and the schedule for counseling.
7. Participating in the counseling process if selected.
8. Reporting to the college if allotted a seat for document verification and completing the admission procedure.
Degree wise Admission Process
BDS: Bachelor of Dental Surgery is 5 years undergraduate program at Daswani Dental College and Research Centre; including one year compulsory internship. Admission will be based on NEET score. This program is there with 100 approved seat intake.
MDS: The college offers several courses forwards Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) programs, all of which have a duration of three years. All admissions made for MDS courses depend on NEET MDS scores. The following are the MDS specializations offered:
