Dattakala College of Pharmacy, Daund was established in the year 2014 and is an affiliated college located in Swami-Chincholi, Pune, Maharashtra. The institute is approved by Pharmacy Council of India and offers various programs in the field of pharmacy at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Its campus is spread over 2 acres with a enrolment of 565 students out of which 61% are male and 39% are female. The institute has a strength of 45 faculty members and imparts education in 7 courses under 4 different degree programs with various pharmaceutical specialties.

The college has a full range of facilities to make students' learning quite comprehensively groomed. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available on campus to provide comfortable accommodation to the out-of-town students. It has a well-equipped library serving as the knowledge hub, along with state-of-the-art laboratories in pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and pharmacognosy. In terms of student welfare in general, facilities are available through a health center offering first-aid help. Sports facilities and a gym are available on campus for all-round development. Also, the institute has provided many modern amenities such as Wi-Fi connectivity, an auditorium with 250-300 seating capacity, and IT infrastructure that enables digital learning.

The courses offered in Dattakala College of Pharmacy are a total of 7, including full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Course offer includes 3 Undergraduate Programs- B.Pharma, B.Pharma Lateral Entry, and D.Pharma and 4 Postgraduate courses, namely, M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, together with Pharm.D. All programs are offered in Full-time mode. 

The admission process in Dattakala College of Pharmacy is different for different programs. The admission into the UG courses like B.Pharma is based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. Postgraduate admissions to M.Pharma are done using the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). The institute also accepts the scores of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET, for admission to some of its courses.
