Daulat Mahto Memorial Teacher Training College is a purely Professional Teacher Training College established in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. This affiliated college was set up in 2009,and since then, it was working as a pioneer in the field of education. The college is located in a small plot of 1 acre which nurtures an environment suitable for learning amongst the students. The college consists of a total number of 75 students and teaching staff of 18 classroom teachers and also provides 1:1 student-teacher ratio and quality education.

The college has various amenities that are meant to improve learning experiences of the students. Possessing large numbers of the outstanding books a wealthy is just in every library and enables students to have sources for their studies. The campus boasts of an up to date computer laboratory equipped with updated configuration systems and provided with round the clock internet connection to enable the students adopt to modern technology. Health wise the college boasts of a playground and a sports hall to cater for all games both indoor and out door games such as; badminton, tennis, volleyball among others. In addition, the college has also been offering different hostels for boys and girls including mess facility to make out station students comfortable.

There are two main programmes that are offered by the Daulat Mahto Memorial Teacher Training College These are in the area of education. Both the B.Ed and D.El Ed programme are full time professional courses that take two years to complete. These two programmes have been approved to admit 100 students and taken together are expected to admit 200 students. This is a set of courses that aims to provide the learner with the appropriate knowledge and skills so that s/he can successfully practice teaching at various stages of school.

The admission of the Daulat Mahto Memorial Teacher Training College is on a merit basis which is in line with the colleges’ quality policy. For the B.Ed programme, the admission policy is evaluated with the marks scored in the relative examination and/or endowment test. The college also follows any other method of selection as stated by the State Government, UT Administration and the affiliated University. Likewise, regarding the procedure for admission to this D.El.Ed programme, it is done by calculating the merit from marks secured of the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per the norms of the State Government or UT Administration of concerned state/UT.
