DAV College Hoshiarpur, founded in 1926, is a co-educational institution situated in Hoshiarpur, Punjab India. This is an NAAC-accredited college affiliated with Panjab University and is situated in a vast area of 10 acres of land. At present, 1,379 students are studying in DAV College and the college has recruited 48 members of faculties, Few programmes are as follows: 14 courses are available in the college.

A college library includes more than 52,029 standard books and it gets more than 50 Indian and foreign magazines and newspapers. The campus provides colleges and other facilities with well-equipped laboratories such as 30 terminal language laboratories for practical sessions. As for extracurricular activities, the college owns a spacious auditorium of 800 seating capacity that is most preferably used for seminars, lectures and cultural events. Sports lovers can capitalise on the general sports facility that also has a facility for multifaceted sporting activities and a modern gym. The college also provides hostel accommodation for both male and female students and is fully furnished with the latest amenities accompanied by 24/7 available medical facilities.

The institution operates 15 courses generally, which include full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The course offers comprises conventional areas like Arts (BA), Commerce (B.Com), and Sciences (B.Sc Medical and Non-Medical), alongside professional education BCA, BBA, and M.Sc Information Technology. At the postgraduate level, there is a master of arts in different subjects, a master of commerce, professional diploma courses post graduate diploma in computer application (PGDCA) & post-graduate diploma in financial management (PGDFD). It also has newer courses such as B.Voc in Retail Management so that it readies its students to meet the dynamic employment sector.
