DAV College, Pehowa, was established in the year 1981 as an affiliated college at Kurukshetra, Haryana. Institute spread over 25 acres provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Having a total student enrollment of 1,354 and a total faculty of 15, DAV College, Pehowa serves its students with an appropriate learning environment. In under graduate programs, it has a very good gender ratio-65% males and 35% females, while in post-graduate programmes, the institute has 35% male and 65% female students. The college conducts 7 courses under 6 different degree programmes, and it has produced an excellent track record in the fields of arts, commerce, and science.

There are several facilities that DAV College, Pehowa offers to its students which make the process of learning enriching and rewarding. The college library is a treasure house of knowledge with more than 21,000 books related to various subjects. These include textbooks and reference books. Boys and girls have separate reading rooms, and the vast collection of newspapers, periodicals, and journals provides an ideal atmosphere for study and research. The library is fully computerized and Wi-Fi enabled. It accesses a plethora of digital facilities such as the Science Encyclopedia on CD-ROM and Encyclopedia Britannica. The institute offers 7 different courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Under both levels, various courses are offered which will suit the different academic interest of students. It has undergraduate three-year full-time courses such as B.Com, BA, B.Sc Non-Medical, and B.Sc Non-Medical Computer Science. The graduate-level advanced studies at the College offer two-year full-time post-graduation programs in M.Sc Mathematics, MA English, and M.Com.
