Dayanand Women's Training College, Kanpur was founded in the year 1958 for promoting women's education in Uttar Pradesh. The affiliated college, located at Mac Robert Ganj, has an area of 0.5924 acres and is affiliated by the National Council for Teacher Education. The various courses that are run here include 5 in number under 4 degrees, its prime interest, however, remains in the fields related to education. The total student enrolment is 344 with a faculty strength of 20, thus maintaining a very favorable student-teacher ratio.
