D D College, Dehradun was established in the Year 2014. It is an affiliated College located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The co-educational institution is approved by National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. This institute provides diversified programs at various levels across disciplines. On campus of area 1.5 acres, the college has a total enrolment of 1,208 students supported by a faculty strength of 37 courses in 10 different degree courses with specializations in Agriculture, Education, Arts, Sciences, Commerce, and Yoga at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The infrastructural setup of the College presents it with facilities for the all-round development of its students-academic and personal.

At the rear is a library, serving as the backbone of the institution, with a large collection of textbooks in science, arts, commerce, and agriculture, along with subscriptions to journals, magazines, and newspapers. Supplements to these theoretical inputs are well-maintained, fully equipped modern laboratories at DD College for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Geography, and Agriculture. These include three fully-equipped, functional computer laboratories running on more than 250 machines for the technological needs of the students. Others include dining facilities: a cafeteria, sports, an auditorium for events and seminars, and the basic medical facilities with first aid and appointments in nearby specialities in case of emergencies. Course Curriculum at DD College is designed to meet the divergent interest in academics. 

The college offers 20 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including a full-time undergraduate program, postgraduate programs, and a postgraduate diploma course. Courses offered in this college include Agriculture, Education, Arts, Sciences, Commerce, Yoga, and Computer Science. Some course-wise popular programs offered by this college are BSc in Agriculture, B.Ed, BA, BSc, BCom, MSc, MCom, MAYoga, and PGD Yoga.

Various courses have different admission processes to DD College. Admissions in B.Ed. are done based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/ U.T. Administration and the university.
