Debraj Roy College, Golaghat, established in the year 1949, is one of the premier institutes of education in Assam, India. The college sprawls over 14 acres of campus and is more than seven decades old. Debraj Roy College is an affiliated college, accredited by NAAC, and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The strength of the faculty is 61. The institution caters to students across Arts, Science, and Computer Applications. 

This is the central library, which acts as one-point academic resource, sheltering more than 37,538 books, 56 journals, and magazines with access to e-books and online resources through NList subscription. The sports facilities offered by Debraj Roy College include both indoor and outdoor facilities, comprising a spacious common room for playing table tennis and carom and a large playground for sports such as football, cricket, and athletics. The health of the students is also taken care of by a Health Care Unit of the institution, which organises many medical awareness programmes and health camps. The IT infrastructure of the college is also integrated with technology in the form of digital projection facilities in most of its major classrooms and smart interactive boards to make for a modern learning environment.
